A Muslim has to take strict care in the performance of obligations like Salat, Zakat, Fasting etc. but as well in his dealings, manners and morals. The real bankrupt on the Day of Resurrection would be who had mountains of good deeds but lost them because of the bad treatment he had towards others. So we need to be very careful in how we treat others.

It is recommended to fast the 9th and 10th Muharram (5 and 6 December 2011) or the 10 and 11 Muharram (6 and 7 December 2011).

The Prophet Sallahou alayhi wa sallam said: Fast on the day of Ashura & be different from the jews. Fast on an extra day before or the day after.

Il est recommande de jeuner soit le 9 et le 10 Muharram (5 et 6 Décembre 2011) ou le 10 et 11 Muharram (6 et 7 Décembre 2011).

Le Prophète Sallahou Alayhi Wa Sallam a dit:Jeunez le jour d Ashura et differenciez-vous des juifs.Jeunez un jour supplémentaire avant ou un jour après.

Those who fast during the month of Muharram will receive  lots of rewards from Allah.

The Prophet Sallahou alayhi wa sallam said: "The best fasts after the fasts of Ramadhaan are those of the month of Muharram."

Ceux ki jeunement pendant le mois de Muharram auront droit a beaucoup récompenses d' ALLAH.

Le Prophète Sallahou Alayhi Wa Sallam a dit: " les meilleurs jeunes a part le Ramadan sont les jeunes pendant le mois d' Allah de Muharram.

O le jeunes! Quiconque parmi vous est pret a partager sa vie avec un autre, alors il ou elle doit se marier. Cela protegera vos yeux de s'egarer (a regarder des hommes ou femmes etrangers) et aussi vos parties privees. Quant a ceux qui n'en ont pas les moyens de se marier (ne pouvant pas s'acquitter des droits d'une epouse ou qui ne peuvent pas trouver un partenaire convenable, etc), alors il ou elle doit jeuner.

O the young! Whoever among you is ready to share his life with another, then he or she must marry. This will protect your eyes from straying ( watch foreign men or women) and also your private parts. As for those who can not afford to marry (which can not fulfilling the rights of a wife or can not find a suitable partner, etc.), then he or she should fast.
