Dutifulness to parents does not stop at any particular stage in anyone’s life. Even after parents die children are required to continue to show dutifulness to them by treating their friends and relatives well, visiting their graves, giving Sadaqah or charitable donations and supplicating on their behalf.

Le devoir envers ses parents ne s’arrête pas a un stade particulier de la vie. Même après la mort des parents, les enfants doivent leur temoigner leur loyauté en agissant respectueusement envers leurs proches et amis, en visitant leurs tombes, en faisant la charité en leurs noms et en demandant pardon pour eux.
